Holland Mineraal is extremely versatile in the design and manufacture of abrasive cleaning systems. In recent decades, many of our systems have been used throughout the surface treatment industry.
There are several cleaning methods available to clean the contaminated abrasive mix.
Cascade cleaner
A cascade cleaner is used to remove dust particles from the abrasive mix. In the 500 mm wide cleaner, the non-usable parts will be extracted out of the mix by means of a preset flow in combination with a three-stage system.
Drum sieve
Holland Mineraal can supply a drum sieve for the removal of coarse contaminants. The electrically driven drum is available in various perforations and automatically removes any impurities.
Magnet seperator
There is an increasing demand in the market to provide cabinets which can blast a variety of different abrasives. This involves blasting and recycling of metallic and non-metallic (inert) abrasives in a single batch.
By employing a magnetic separator, the metallic abrasive is separated from the inert (non-metallic) parts. After a period of time, the separated metallic parts become magnetized causing them to “stick”. To reduce this effect, a demagnetizer is incorporated into the separator.
Holland Mineraal also has various kinds of magnetic separators available for making “iron-free” abrasive mixes such as Corundum, Speed Blast/Garnet and Glass Beads.
